For regulated fintech teams

AI memory for fintech compliance teams

Folder connects your policies, KYB files, tickets, Slack messages, call notes, and past decisions, so compliance teams can find the right context, draft auditable reviews, and stop repeating the same work.

Built by founders who ran compliance and risk at an EU-licensed fintech.

The real bottleneck

Compliance teams don’t have a writing problem. They have a memory problem.

Policies live in folders. Cases live in spreadsheets. Partner questions live in email. Decisions happen in Slack. Call notes sit in someone’s docs. SARs pile up.

When a compliance officer needs to make a decision, the context is scattered everywhere.

Find the right policy

Teams waste time searching for the policy, clause, or procedure that applies.

Reuse past decisions

Similar cases happen again, but no one remembers what was decided last time.

Prove what happened

Every review, SAR, or partner response needs evidence, sources, and a clear trail.

Product

Folder turns scattered compliance knowledge into company memory.

Folder connects to the systems where compliance work already happens and builds a memory layer your team can query. It does not replace the compliance officer. It gives them the context they need to make faster, more consistent, and more defensible decisions.

01

Ask questions across company knowledge

What does our policy say about high-risk merchants?

Have we onboarded a similar company before?

What did we tell this payment partner last time?

Which procedure applies to this transaction pattern?

Folder answers with citations.
02

Draft KYB reviews

Folder helps compliance officers draft KYB reviews using company policies, customer files, previous decisions, risk notes, and partner requirements.

Every draft links back to the source material.

03

Draft SARs with sources

Folder helps prepare SAR drafts from case context, transaction notes, internal discussions, and previous reports.

The compliance officer stays in control. Folder drafts and cites.

04

Update memory as work happens

Every review, decision, SAR, and partner answer becomes part of the company memory, so the next case is easier.

How it works

Why now

We built the first version for ourselves.

Before Folder, we ran Swipelux, an EU-licensed fintech.

Compliance controlled who we could onboard, how we could process payments, and what risks the company could take. The hard part was not writing policies. The hard part was following them every day.

So we built an internal brain for the company.

The first version was a Mac mini running about 20 scripts written and maintained by the CEO. It pulled context from policies, customer files, support notes, sales calls, risk notes, and previous investigations.

It was ugly, but it changed how the company worked.

Now we are turning that internal system into a product.

Who it is for
